SIT, RIDE & RELAX AROUND CHRISTCHURCH TOUR

Half-Day
Available All Year Round

Let me cater for you. This tour is all about you!

Tell me what you enjoy and your interests and together we will build a tour that you can really enjoy.

See Christchurch, Sumner, Lyttelton, and surrounding areas. walks in the native bush, morning tea by the sea, beautiful views of the Southern Alps, and a summit drive that showcases Christchurch City. We stop often for photos - coffee, toilet stops and  history.

You say how long you have and I'll create a tour just for you.  Get in contact with me and let's make it happen.

  • Mix and match a range of activities in and around the Christchurch city area.

  • Drive a short distance to shop at "The Tannery". Be guided to shop where the locals go for quality and bargains all at once.

  • For those with a quality budget, I will take you out to the possum, merino, wool factory shop, gorgeous and good value garments, then visit the shop out the back for fabulous garments at a better price. You just have to know where to go.

  • Explore the only native-protected forest at Riccarton Bush. This is where the first successful Dean brothers made a home in Christchurch, the bush has never changed from the 1800s and remains the same to this day. This is a flat, easy 20-minute walk in the spectacular untouched native forest. The birdsong is beautiful and has a boardwalk so you can walk in your street shoes.

  • Drive through the "Red Zone", where the earthquake has decimated residential areas. I'll take you out to Brighten Beach, the pier, and the beach fronts.

  • View the earthworks to stabilize cliffs on the way to Sumner Beach. Take a walk along the Esplanade in Sumner for those who want to stretch their legs.

  • Return to the city along the Port Hills Summit Road for views of the Pacific Ocean and the Southern Alps. I pack a lot into this tour, so sit, ride, and just relax.

Half Day Tour

Vicky met us at our hotel and took us on a tour of the surrounding areas in Christchurch. She is obviously someone who has extensive local knowledge and who loves her city very much.
